The AI Sign Language Translation & Teaching System is tailor-made for special education for the hearing impaired. The full suite consists of simultaneous interpretation all-in-one machines, a teaching platform, teaching & examination integrated devices, information display screens and courseware production tools. The all-in-one device recognizes voice in real time and displays texts and digital avatar sign language simultaneously, enabling hearing teachers to give lessons without sign language skills. The platform incorporates a national standard sign language lexicon; teachers can trigger sign language demonstrations by highlighting words in textbooks, and recorded courses are available for cloud playback. The teaching and examination equipment identifies students’ hand gestures via AI to automatically correct movements and assess performance for self-practice. Information screens broadcast campus announcements and emergency alerts through synchronized sign language, text and light prompts. The whole system builds bilingual classrooms and fully eliminates communication barriers between hearing-impaired teachers and students.
